Since 1992, MTV has highlighted Movies that impact their global audience by engaging them to vote on their favorite experiences. As an enthusiastic movie watcher, the MTV Movie Awards show has always been a time for joy, celebrity shenanigans, and the discovery of watch-worthy movies.

In a collaborative effort to visualize movie nominations in new meaningful ways, MTV's digital design team focused on interpreting their favorite movies of the year. The challenge: minimize the movie to a single frame.
